School Holiday Clay Workshop: Ceramic Fish Bowls

Dive into creativity with this fun and engaging workshop! In this session, young artists will create their very own hand-built ceramic fish shaped bowls. These personalized bowls make fantastic keepsakes or gifts and provide a delightful introduction to the world of clay. Bowls will be fired and ready for collection in a few weeks time.

Age Group: 5+
Parking: When dropping off your child, please park on the north side of Wellington St, parallel to Brown Park, to respect our neighbors.

Workshop Highlights:

• Introduction to Hand-Building with Clay: Kids will learn the basics of hand-building techniques, focusing on shaping and designing their own ceramic fish bowls.
• Creative Expression: Your friendly instructor, local artist Jasmine Raisbeck, will guide participants in exploring their creativity, helping them add whimsical and unique details to their bowls.
• Hands-On Fun: Children will enjoy a hands-on experience, molding and decorating their clay creations.
• All Materials Provided: I supply everything needed, including clay, tools, and decorative materials.
• Take Home a Masterpiece: Finished bowls will be fired and glazed on a separate day, ready for pickup on Monday, January 29.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothes that can get a bit messy
• Nut-free snacks and a water bottle for short breaks
• All art materials are provided

Pricing:

$65 per child (includes all materials and firing fees)

Registration:

Spaces are limited to ensure each child receives individual attention. Secure your child’s spot by registering online.

Refund Policy:

• Please choose carefully, as I cannot offer a refund if your child cannot make their class.
• If you need to cancel your class registration, please contact me at least 7 days prior to the class date, and I will provide a credit for a future class.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another person.
