School Holiday Workshop: Ceramic Shell Trinket Bowls

Let your child’s creativity shine in this hands-on clay workshop! Young artists will create beautiful, hand-built trinket bowls inspired by the shapes and textures of seashells. They can even bring their favorite shells from home to incorporate into their designs!

Parking: When dropping off your child, please park on the north side of Wellington St, parallel to Brown Park, to respect our neighbors.

Workshop Highlights:

• Introduction to Hand-Building with Clay: Kids will learn the basics of working with clay, shaping and molding it to create stunning trinket bowls inspired by shells.
• Creative Expression: Guided by local artist Jasmine Raisbeck, children can bring their own shells from home to use for textures, patterns and shapes.
• Hands-On Fun: Young artists will explore techniques to design, decorate, and personalize their trinket bowls with unique touches.
• All Materials Provided: I supply everything needed, including clay, tools, and decorative materials.
• Take Home a Masterpiece: Finished bowls will be dried, glazed, and fired at my studio, ready for collection in a few weeks. These one-of-a-kind pieces are perfect for keepsakes or gifts!

What to Bring:

• Your favourite seashells (optional)
• Comfortable clothes that can get messy
• A smile and eagerness to create!

Pricing:

$65 per child (includes all materials and firing fees)

Registration:

Spaces are limited to ensure each child receives individual attention. Secure your child’s spot by registering online.

Refund Policy:

• Please choose carefully, as I cannot offer a refund if your child cannot make their class.
• If you need to cancel your class registration, please contact me at least 7 days prior to the class date, and I will provide a credit for a future class.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another person.
