School Holiday Art Workshop: Paint your pet 

Looking for a fun and creative activity for the kids during the school holidays? Join me for my special Art Workshop, where young artists will learn how to create a painting of their pet using a photographic reference (please bring).

Age Group: 5+
Parking: When dropping off your child, please park on the north side of Wellington St, parallel to Brown Park, to respect our neighbors.

Workshop Highlights:

• Introduction to Acrylic Painting: Kids will learn the basics of painting with acrylics, focusing on creating a vibrant painting of their beloved pet (image must be provided). 

• Basic Layering Technique: Participants will be introduced to the foundational technique of layering, learning how to build up their paintings with depth and dimension, just like professional artists.

• Creative Expression: Your friendly instructor, local artist Jasmine Raisbeck, will guide participants in exploring their creativity, helping them bring their feathered friends to life on a 25cm x 20cm canvas.

• Hands-On Fun: Children will enjoy a hands-on experience, experimenting with colors and techniques to create beautiful, unique bird paintings.

• All Materials Provided: I supply everything needed, including canvases, paints, brushes, and other materials.

• Take Home a Masterpiece: Finished paintings will be ready to take home at the end of the session, perfect for display or as a thoughtful gift.

What to Bring:

• A photograph or print out of your child's pet.
• Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. 
• Please pack a snack and water bottle for your child as we will have short breaks in between making our trinket bowls. Please ensure the snack is nut free as per your usual school guidelines.
• Please wear comfortable clothes that can get a bit messy

Pricing:
$65 per child (includes all materials)

Spaces are limited to ensure each child receives individual attention. Secure your child’s spot by registering online.

Refund policy:
Please choose carefully, as I cannot offer a refund if your child cannot make their class.

If you do need to cancel your class registration, please contact me at least 7 days prior to the class date and I will give you a credit to attend a future class.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to another person.
